Wilkes University Theatre Presents We Shot JFK April 6 - 9
Wilkes University Theatre presents We Shot JFK, an original multimedia documentary theatre event using government reports, television
footage and original interviews as source material for the script. Performances are
April 6, 7, 8 at 8 p.m. and April 9 at 2 p.m. at the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center
for the Performing Arts.
Media effects and projections take the ensemble back in time with dialogue based on eyewitness testimony and interviews to tell the story of who killed President John F. Kennedy and why. The show also follows the conspirators and the self-confessed gunman who fired the fatal shot. We Shot JFK is for those who remember that world-changing day in November, and especially for those who don’t.
General admission is $10, $5 for students and seniors and free for all Wilkes students, faculty and staff with ID. For more information, please call the box office at 570-408-4540.
