Students In Wilkes University’s Sidhu School of Business and Leadership Get Advice from Human Resource Directors At Nov. 2 and 9 Events

Wilkes University students in the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership will get career advice when human resources professionals visit campus on Nov. 2 and 9. Both sessions begin at 5 p.m. in the Henry Student Center Miller Room on the Wilkes campus.
 

Representatives from 10 local companies that are members of the Family Business Alliance will review resumes and portfolios, conduct mini interviews and evaluate elevator pitches for junior students enrolled in the Personal and Professional Development Class. Participating companies and business centers include American Asphalt, Baker Tilly, Benco Dental, Career Link of Luzerne County, Dempsey Uniform, Kane Is Able, M&T Bank, Sordoni Construction Services and Vantagen. The sessions will conclude with a review from the human resources directors regarding tips for students and a question-and-answer session.
