Wilkes University to Host Graduate Open House for Educators on Dec. 3
Attendees Can Receive an Instant Admissions Decision
Wilkes University will host an open house from 3 - 5 p.m. on Thurs., Dec. 3 for educators interested in pursuing an advanced degree or certification. The open house takes place in the Miller Room on the second floor of the Henry Student Center located at 84 W. South St., Wilkes-Barre. Free parking is available at the rear of the building.
Attendees who would like an instant admissions decision are asked to bring their undergraduate
transcripts. Prospective students can meet one-on-one with admissions staff to discuss
the application process.
Wilkes offers over two dozen education master’s degrees, letters of endorsement and certification programs, as well as the doctor of education degree. Most programs can be completed in online or hybrid formats, with face-to-face options available at nearly 40 sites across Pennsylvania.
Faculty members will address the School of Education’s emphasis on practical concepts with immediate career application. Programs address technology integration, teaching concepts, education leadership and school business affairs.
Tuition for most programs is $438 per credit and financial aid is available to those who qualify. Wilkes offers tuition deferment to students whose districts reimburse the cost of their degree.
