For nearly half a century here at Wilkes University, the Circle K club has forged students to become strong leaders by giving back to their communities through hard work and generosity. The Wilkes Circle K Club was chartered in 1962 and was the first in the Wilkes-Barre area. Since that beginning, the club has become one of the most distinguished and popular clubs on the Wilkes campus.
Community Service Organization, Circle K International can be found at more than 500 college campuses in 11 nations, Circle K works under the guidance of Kiwanis International to teach young students to become active and responsible citizens. Wilkes works with the Wilkes-Barre Kiwanis club and local Circle K clubs from King’s College and College Misericordia to apply these ideals.

less fortunate. The members of Wilkes Circle K routinely volunteer for the V.I.S.I.O.N.
homeless shelter, REACH reading program, the Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, SPCA,
the Salvation Army, and St. Vincent DePaul Kitchen of Wilkes-Barre, among others.
