Vicky Shah received his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Howard University College of Pharmacy in Washington, DC and completed post-graduate residency training at Suburban Hospital –Johns Hopkins Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice with a clinical site at the Wilkes-Barre Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center. He is an active member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. Dr. Shah primarily teaches in the Infectious Disease module as well as many inpatient topics throughout the Pharmacotherapeutics curriculum. Dr. Shah is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and serves as the internal medicine preceptor to a mixture of residents and students at the Wilkes-Barre Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center. He reviews journals for many organizations including Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association and the Wilkes-Barre Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center “Mortal and Pestle” newsletter.
