Lieutenant Colonel Hedrick is the Commander, Detachment 752, Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She also serves as the Professor of Aerospace Studies and instructs AFROTC cadets on the Foundation of the United States Air Force, Leadership Studies and National Security Affairs. Lt Col Hedrick commissioned as a distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in June 2004. She completed training to become a Special Agent at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in July 2005 and was assigned to the Office of Special Investigations (OSI), serving in units in both Europe and the United States. During these assignments, Lt Col Hedrick conducted criminal investigations and counterintelligence activities affecting the United States Air Force. Lt Col Hedrick also served as the Assistant Director of Operations, Air Force Rescue Coordination Center, where she coordinated civil search and rescue missions across the United States. Prior to her current assignment, Lt Col Hedrick was the Commander, OSI Detachment 5, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia, where she led a unit composed of protective service details responsible for the security of senior Department of the Air Force and Department of Defense personnel, as well as visiting foreign dignitaries.
