Technical Sergeant Melissa M. Bravo is the NCOIC, Administration Management for AFROTC Detachment 752, Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, PA. She manages personnel records and administrative processes for 4 cadre, 2 AFIT/AECP students, and 36 cadets. Sergeant Bravo enlisted in the Air Force in 2005. After graduating basic training, she attended technical training for the Information Management course at Keesler AFB, Mississippi. In 2006, she was assigned to the 56th Fighter Wing, Luke AFB, Arizona, where she reached many career milestones. During this time, Sergeant Bravo served as the main point of contact for all professional evaluations, decorations, and correspondence that required the wing commander signature or approval. Her outstanding duty performance and many accomplishments led to the selection of the Outstanding Information Manager Airman of the Year in 2007. In 2009, Sergeant Bravo was assigned to the 782d Training Group, Sheppard AFB, Texas, hired to work in the 82d Training Wing Command Section, and then assigned to the 982d Training Group. While at Sheppard AFB, Sergeant Bravo has contributed to the 82d Training Wing mission by volunteering with Airman Against Drunk Driving, becoming points of contact for the 82d Training Wing Staff Agencies and 982d Training Group Air Force level fund raisers, and participating with Junior Enlisted Team Sheppard. Currently, at AFROTC Detachment 752, Sergeant Bravo is working toward her Masters in Business Administration, volunteering at the local Veterans Affairs Medical Center, committee member of the city’s Veterans Day Parade Committee, and is the treasurer for the local youth sports league.
