Cierra Steele is from the great buckeye state of OH-IO, where she attended Napoleon High School. In 2016, after earning a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a concentration in public communication, Cierra started her journey in higher education. In September 2018, Cierra moved out to the great state of Pennsylvania and started her position at Wilkes.
Best college advice for prospective students: You are the author of your own book and you get to determine where this next chapter in life takes you. Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, get involved, and remember this journey will create some of your favorite memories to reflect on years from now.
Favorite thing to do in Wilkes-Barre: Eat at all the different restaurants available

Favorite vacation spot: I’m a southern girl at heart and love anytime I can go to Florida or Alabama to visit family. Dream location would be Greece!
Favorite Season and Seasonal Activity/Hobby: Fall. Everything about it excites me. Football (of course), the colors, the scents, the foliage, scary movies, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, candy, cooler weather, etc.
Favorite Food: Tacos with queso of course.
Random fun fact about me: I grew up as a military brat so I’ve moved around a lot as a child, and got the opportunity to live in Germany for 3 years.
