Welcome to the Office of Technology for Teaching and Learning!
The Office of Technology for Teaching and Learning (OTTL), formerly eLearning, provides support to faculty in any area related to teaching, technology, instructional design and much more. We can work with you on your face-to-face classes, online and hybrid to fully develop or just enhance your classes. We also provide professional development opportunities for faculty throughout the year and can do one-on-one meetings as well, just stop by or make an appointment with any of our instructional designers. To learn more about the variety of services and support we offer, visit the About Us page.
OTTL also provides a variety of resources including links to tools, articles, and tutorials for the various systems and platforms we support. We host various events throughout the year as well as share relevant events with other organizations. Visit these various resources and event details via the links at right.
Panopto - Video Content Creation and Sharing!
OTTL officially launches Panopto, our new video content management platform. Watch a recording of how to get started using Panopto here.
Want to know more or have some questions about features? Panopto provides a full suite of support resources including video tutorials and documentation at support.panopto.com. OTTL created a resource page which can be accessed from the list on the right, which will be regularly updated with additional information.
LockDown Browser - Secure Your Online Tests!
LockDown Browser is a browser application that secures the testing environment of any online quiz or exam. When faculty attach it to a test, students cannot begin the exam/quiz until they launch the LockDown Browser application. This prevents students from opening additional browser tabs, other applications, screen captures, it disables print functions and much more! Faculty can feel more confident about the integrity and security of their exams. It's quick and easy to set up and can be used for in-person online exams as well as in distance courses. Visit the LockDown Browser page for more details.
