The vision for the Finance Accounting and Management (FAM) Department is to produce graduates who become the leaders of choice in the business community. 

The mission of the Department is to provide appropriate pathways to achieve that vision.  These pathways emerge from appropriate and timely curricula that is efficiently and effectively implemented by a well-supported faculty and staff. The FAM Department offers students three majors (Finance, Accounting and Management), the three corresponding Minors and a newly introduced minor in Business Analytics.

The most common career path for graduates in this major is in the financial division of a multiline business that may move up the corporate ladder to the CFO position.
