Research interests:

The primary goal of my research program is to understand how landscape changes affect ecological communities - from populations to interactions.  Processes of landscape change that I have studied include forest fragmentation, urbanization, and prescribed burning and study organisms have included invertebrates, mammals, and birds. My research has studied individual populations (e.g., Wood Thrush), species interactions (e.g., Blue Jays and oak dispersal) to whole communities (food webs on grasslands).
