Tasha Cain has been a Foreign Service Officer with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belize for 7 years. She studied Intercultural Service Leadership and Management at the SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont and International Relations at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is currently posted as the First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of Belize to the United Nations where she covers issues dealing with Disarmament and International Security, Economic and Development Issues as well as Decolonization Issues.
In her previous post with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belize, she was the US, Canada and Australia Desk Officer. She also covered the multilateral desks of the United Nations (UN), Organization of American States (OAS) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
She has a passion for travel, food and photography.
