Welcome Back Students!
As the start of the fall semester approaches (August 31st), here is some important information for your attention:
- Fall 2015 Class Schedule
Please remember to retrieve an up-to-date copy of your Fall 2015 Class Schedule via the MYWilkes portal as close to the start of classes as possible, as some room assignments may change. Note that you are formally registered for all courses listing “RE” or “RW” status. A “WL” status after a particular course means that you are only wait-listed, not registered, for that course; if you are still interested in that particular course/section, you should check directly with the instructor during the first week of classes to see if any openings have occurred due to drop/add activity. If you gain entry into that class, or wish to drop or add a course, you must still obtain the appropriate form, secure the proper signature(s), and return it to the Student Services Center for processing. Please note that you must be registered for 12 credits in order to be considered a full time student for billing and financial aid purposes.
- Update Personal Information
It is also very important that our office keep up-to-date student information in our records. Please make sure we have your local address and phone number in our system. Click on this local address link to enter your local address & phone information.
- January 2016 Graduates
It is imperative that students planning to complete their degree requirements at the end of the fall 2015 semester adhere to the deadlines as listed in the graduation information link.
- Student Affairs Update
Click here for an overall student update on many campus topics, including Residence Hall openings.
- New Payment Policy Fall 2015
Wilkes requires that all balances must be paid in full, or financial clearance must be obtained, by August 27th. Several options are available for students to obtain financial clearance. To review a complete list of options for obtaining financial clearance, please go to www.wilkes.edu/financialaid.
