Dr. Welch received his PharmD...
from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed a community-pharmacy practice residency at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in affiliation with Kerr Drug.

His practice site is at DeBalko's Standard Drug, an independent community pharmacy in McAdoo, PA, where he is working to implement innovative patient-care programs in an effort to shift the pharmacist away from the traditional dispensing role and into a more direct patient-care role.
