Office Location and Hours
The Admissions Office in Chase Hall, located at 184 South River Street, Wilkes Barre, is open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm.
The Student Services Office in the University Center on Main (UCoM), located at 169 South Main Street, Wilkes Barre, is open 8:30am-4:30pm.
The Barnes and Noble Wilkes/King's Bookstore, located at 7 South Main Street, Wilkes Barre, can be visited online by going to the "Bookstore" link through the QuickLinks box above.
How to Register
Current Full-time Wilkes Undergraduates
Current full-time Wilkes undergraduate students must pre-register with their advisors and submit their signed pre-registration forms to the Student Services Office. On-line registration is also available through the Wilkes portal, which can be accessed at www.wilkes.edu.
Part-time Students
Part time students register at the Admissions Office in Chase Hall. Please phone 570-408-4400 for an appointment.
Graduate Students
Graduate students register at the Student Services Office. Registration forms can be obtained by calling the office at 570-408-2000.
Visiting Students
Visiting students who are attending Wilkes for the summer only, and who will transfer their summer credits to their home institution, will complete an application and register at the Admissions Office. Please phone 570-408-4400 for an appointment.
Visiting students do not need to send official transcripts, but should submit a letter of approval from their dean or appropriate school official for the summer courses being taken at Wilkes. Upon completion of a Wilkes course, a student may request official transcripts.
High School Students
Current high school students who want to take a course at Wilkes may register after receiving written permission from their principal or guidance counselor. Interested students can apply and register at the Admissions Office. Please phone 570-408-4400 for an appointment.
