Wilkes University’s Pre-Law Studies Program...
helps you decide if law school is right for you. Pre-law advisees benefit from the program by making better-informed career choices and receiving assistance in gaining admission to law school. In Specifically, pre-law advisors assist students in choosing classes best suited for potential legal training, preparing for the LSAT, and providing guidance throughout the admission process with personal statements, helping to choose the "right" law schools, etc.
In recent years, Wilkes graduates have attended PSU-Dickinson, Temple University, Villanova University, and a number of other law schools. In 2005, 100% of our pre-law advisees who applied to law schools were accepted.

Your pre-law advisor will also work with your faculty advisor to help you choose the best courses to prepare you for a legal career. Also, your pre-law advisor will have information on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and has materials helpful to pre-law students.
