The Idea-Driven Organization: Unlocking the Power in Bottom-Up Ideas
with Dr. Alan G. Robinson

1. Learn how to maximize talent to help grow and improve your company.

2. Discover proven concepts to unlock up to 80% of your organization’s potential for innovation.
3. Dicscuss real examples of organizations that implement these systems and discover their amazing results.

Organizations may be overlooking, or even suppressing, a powerful source of growth and innovation. Frontline employees who interact directly with customers, make the products, and provide the services have unparalleled insights into where problems exist and what improvements and new offerings would have the most impact. In this presentation, Alan will explain how to align every part of an organization around generating and implementing employee ideas and offer dozens of real world examples of what a tremendous competitive advantage this can offer. A high performing idea system can enable leaders to build organizations capable of implementing 20, 50, or even 100 ideas per employee per year.

When October 7, 2014 | 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

1/2 Day Workshop: Maximizing Improvement, Lean, and Innovation in Your Organization
Dr. Alan G. Robinson

1. Learn how to maximize your current idea system, or create one that works
2. Discuss how to increase impact, corporate creativity, and innovation within your organization
3. Discover the six elements of corporate creativity and how to implement them in your business
4. Acquire new ways to implement Lean into your organization
5. Review real world corporate examples and discover their amazing results using Alan’s combined system

A key core competency for any leader to create and build an organization that continuously improves and innovates. Whatever your goals as a leader – whether to save money or time, improve productivity or responsiveness, or to come up with more innovative new products and services – you need your employee’s ideas to attain these goals. Idea-driven organizations are directed from the top, but are driven by large numbers of ideas from the bottom. Data from organizations with high-performing idea systems show that roughly 80 percent of overall performance improvement comes from front-line ideas, and only 20 percent from management-initiated projects. It is impossible to be truly lean, or excellent in any aspect of performance, with the ability to tap these ideas. Learn how to increase the impact, creativity and innovativeness of the ideas that come in. It will cover the six elements of corporate creativity and how to implement them. Managers will walk away with a roadmap for turning creativity in their areas of responsibility from a sporadic hit-or-miss proposition into something consistent they can truly count on.

When October 8, 2014 | 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
