Wilkes University Big Event 2013

The Big Event is a single day of University wide community service.

Our mission is to work together to unite, give back, and foster growth amongst Wilkes Colonels and our neighbors. On April 7, 2013 our students, faculty, staff, and alumni will take to the community as a single Army of Colonels to help those who are in need of assistance.

We will rake yards, paint fences, clean up damages left by the fall flooding, and much more. We will be working with local agencies to find volunteer sites, but if you are in need of assistance please call 570-408-2910, leave your full name and phone number, and we will do our best to get back to you*.

Schedule:
9:00 - 9:30 a.m. - Welcome
9:30 - 10:00 a.m. - Transportation of Volunteers
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Community Service at varied locations
3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Transportation of Volunteers back to Wilkes University
