Superintendent Advisory Council

Superintendents or their designees from regional school districts working with aspiring administrators and a minimum of two University faculty representatives working in the Educational Leadership Preparation programs at the University will serve on an advisory council (“Council”) for the preparation of aspiring educational leaders.

• be the partnership decision-making body;
• develop recruitment activities to identify aspiring school and district leaders;
• establish and maintain mutual goals to ensure that the preparation of educational leaders is relevant and timely to address K-12 educational needs based on district-data;
• develop a plan for the collaboration and successful delivery of the leadership preparation programs at field-based sites;
• evaluate the partnership on an annual basis.
