The Iowa Drug Information Service (IDIS) provides access to records drawn from 200 peer-reviewed English language medical and pharmaceutical journals covering a wide range of topics. Among the areas covered are pharmacy and pharmacology, general and internal medicine, infectious disease and immunology, transplant, cardiovascular, rheumatology, microbiology, geriatrics, and endocrinology. Articles indexed pertain to drug use in humans, identifying the main drugs and diseases. Coverage extends from 1966 – present, with full-text from 1988 through the current month.
