The Values (Motivator) Index
Why We Lead or Live the Way We Do

The Values Index is an assessment of why we lead, perform, and live/work the way we do. Two researchers, Dr. Eduard Spranger and Gordon Allport, have developed and refined this instrument for more than three decades to understand what drives and motivates an individual. The seven dimensions of value discovered help us to understand the reasons that drive or motivate individuals to utilize their talents in the way they do. The dimensions are Aesthetic, Economic, Individualistic, Political, Altruistic, Regulatory, and Theoretical. This Values Index will help you understand your motivators and drivers and how to optimize your performance by achieving better alignment and passion for what you do. After this session, participants will have information that will help them in several key areas:
  • Setting and achieving goals that are inspirational
  • Creating roles/actions that align well with motivations
  • Job selection
  • Performance Management

Please note: Participants will need to complete the Values Index online 10 days prior to the session.
