Career Aspirations: “To become K-12 Spanish or secondary English teacher.”
Most Worthwhile Leadership Experience: “Tutoring at Hanover Area Jr.-Sr. High School. Tutoring students gives me the opportunity to help them learn, and overtime, see them improve. This gives the students, as well as myself, a sense of accomplishment”
Most Worthwhile Mentoring Experience: “Dr. Garcia my Spanish advisor and Dr. Starner my English advisor, have both helped me select classes that I not only enjoy and will use in my career, but that I might not have taken otherwise.”
“Professor Thomas, my Education advisor has has helped me fit two majors and two minors into four years of college.”
Best thing about being a student at Wilkes University: “I can walk the Greenway and know just about every student I pass. With such small class sizes, your thoughts and ideas get heard.”
Why Wilkes: “The scenery. I wanted to learn on a campus that is within a community, not outside of it.”
