Wilkes University and downtown Wilkes-Barre offer a variety of places to dine or relax at, either before or after class. On campus, Wilkes offers Rifkin Café, Einstein Bros. Bagels, and the cafeteria for students in need of a bite to eat.

For those interested in traveling off-campus, downtown Wilkes-Barre has several locations for graduate students to enjoy some downtime. All you have to do is walk down Main Street!   You'll find local businesses and franchises, such as:

There's also plenty of activities for after class.  Movies 14 is located right next to Januzzi’s. Luna Lounge is locacated right next to Subway. Across from Subway, students can find Reflex, The Hardware Bar, and Bourbon Street Salon to relax after class. Mohegan Sun Casino is also a popular attraction, located less than 6 miles away from campus.
