The Personal and Professional Development office writes the grant for the McGowan Scholarship each year in September, advertises scholarship in January, and works with the faculty to interview and decide upon the current year's scholar.

The PPD team also facilitates the administration of the Sidhu Scholars Program. During the spring semester letters are sent out to incoming freshmen students (who meet the requirements) and applications are collected. Once the students are selected, the PPD team develops and oversees four different activities for the scholars including: leadership day (fall), dinner with the Dean (winter), leadership field trip (spring), and end of school dinner (summer). Adminstration and scholarship delivery also includes the Outstanding Leadership Forum.
