Matthew E. Haggerty, Esq.

Mr. Haggerty served a federal clerkship with the Honorable William J. Nealon in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He then entered private practice with the law firm of Haggerty, McDonnell, O’Brien & Hinton in Scranton, Pennsylvana, and later served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Five years ago he joined Times-Shamrock Communications, his family’s media company, which publishes newspapers and operates radio stations in Northeastern Pennsylvania and throughout the country. Mr. Haggerty received a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University, a law degree from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America and a master’s in business administration from Villanova University.
