Justice Eakin was elected to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 2001, after serving six years on the Pennsylvania Superior Court. He served three terms as District Attorney of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and received his law degree from the Dickinson School of Law.
