Judge, Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Judge Burke was appointed to the Bench in April 1998 by then Governor Tom Ridge. Prior to his tenure on the Luzerne County Bench, Judge Burke was engaged in the practice of law for 25 years. Judge Burke is a graduate of Lehigh University and Villanova University School of Law. He is an Army veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Meritorious Service in the Republic of Vietnam. |
