Stephanie Yachim | November 2006
Her supervisor at FOX56 praises her initiative and writes: "Stephanie has already completed several projects that are on air...she has always asked for another campaign/project when she finishes one."
Stephanie's "professional, hard-working approach reflects so well on her and also on our internship program. She is a go-getter who also tackles new technical skills. Video editing was a new challenge for Stephanie, but within days she was able to put together promotional packages that are airing on FOX 56. She is quick, bright and very professional. That combination of traits makes her an exceptional intern."

Victoria Tomassetti | October 2006
Dr. Bohlander, her faculty coordinator wrote the following about her: "Tori is on the 'fast track' to learning the ins and outs of Helpline. Within a short time after beginning her internship, she received her first suicide call, which she handled admirably. Tori presents a very warm and accepting tone to Helpline callers, yet knows and respects the necessary boundaries. She does a very effective job, is learning a lot about area services, and has challenged herself with this internship position. She is an outstanding intern in an important position where you can't hide from responsibility. During her shift, she is 'it.' If she does not provide the necessary services to the caller, the consequences can be very unfortunate- even dire in certain cases. She is representing Wilkes with the utmost professionalism. It is my pleasure to nominate her for intern of the month."

Adrienne Richards | September 2006
Adrienne is part of the inter-institutional partnership Wilkes has with American University in Washington, D.C. Adrienne is interned for the ABC News Washington Bureau. "I am getting to experience so much. After the press conference with Clinton and reps, I took two victims from 9/11 and the doctor (Robin Herbert) outside and conducted interviews. Dr. Herbert is the doctor who released the study that 70% of 9/11 responders have developed new or worsening respiratory problems. After my adventure on Capitol Hill I went back to the bureau and did an interview with Mark Kohorst, National Electrical Manufacturers, as California has banned the disposal of batteries. To top it off, I had an interview at 5:30 p.m. with Peter Kant, VP Governmental Affairs for OSI Systems, who talked about security at our borders."

Stephanie Yachim | July 2006
Stephanie is interning with a firm in Boston, G9Girls. However, her internship is specifically with a project designed to call attention to the problem of international child labor abuse. Stephanie has taken the role of PR/Marketing Manager for their not-for-profit campaign, Dolls4Dreams. The Dolls4Dreams campaign is a media event including a doll show scheduled in August at the Boston Sports Club. What impresses me the most is how Stephanie has organized the logistics for this event and managed both the other 4 interns and her boss. She set up the venue, designed and wrote the press kit, handled press releases and posters, etc. Equally impressive is how she has managed to persuade her work supervisor, the President of the for-profit company, how to organize the non-for-profit event so it can accomplish several goals. She is working very hard and takes a lot of pride in the work on the Dolls4Dreams campaign. For her ingenuity, superior organizational skills and focus on achieving very admirable goals, I nominate Stephanie Yachim. This is also the first placement of a Wilkes intern in this Boston PR-related area. She is clearly representing us very well.
