The Max Roth Center makes an imposing statement...
on the corner of South and South Franklin Streets. The building is home to offices that offer valuable resources for students and alumni.
Our Career Services office is located on the first floor of Max Roth. The goal of that office is to help students and alumni with career decision making and provide services such as career counseling, career testing, graduate school search services, seminars and workshops, job search support, and on-campus recruiting.
In November 1984, this building...
was acquired by Wilkes University. Previously a dentist's office, Max Roth was converted into admisistrative offices for Wilkes.
The building was designed by J.H.W. Hawkins and features a variety of architectural styles. Its impressive stone facade and distinctive wrought-iron decorations (pictured at the top of this page) create an attractive entrance to the Wilkes buildings on this block of South Franklin Street.
