Lecture Series

From the cutting edge to the quirky, but always successful, the Center hosts two lectures annually. Open to students and the community, these forums give students and the community insight into the creative process and drive of the entrepreneur.

“Juice guy” Tom Scott shared how he and a college buddy grew Nantucket Nectars into a multi-million dollar enterprise. Other speakers have included Lillian Vernon, founder and namesake of a national catalog and online retailer; ice cream innovator Jerry Greenfield of Ben & Jerry’s fame; and award-winning consumer journalist John Stossel, known for his contrarian reports and Give Me a Break segments on ABC’s 20/20.
