Dawn Leas – Associate Program Director, Poet.
Dawn Leas is an alum of the Wilkes University Creative Writing M.F.A. program. Her chapbook, I Know When to Keep Quiet, was released in 2010 by Finishing Line Press. Her work has appeared in goldwakepress.org, Literary Mama, Willows Wept Review, Interstice, Poetry in Transit and elsewhere. She won an honorable mention in the 2005 Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Prize and first place in the Fall 2011 East Meets West, American Writers Review contest. She conducts poetry workshops and presentations and participates in readings and book signings. She is also a contributing editor to Poets' Quarterly. In past lives she was a copywriter, freelancer, admissions director and middle-school English teacher.
