WILKES-BARRE, PA. (May 2, 2013) – Small business owners can learn more about how health care reform impacts their companies at a May 15 meeting of the Family Business Forum at Wilkes University. Eric Pochas, the director of client services for Vantagen LLC, will present “Health Care Reform Rodeo: Corralling the Various Compliance Requirements into 2014 and Beyond.” The event will be held at 5 p.m. on May 15 in the Wilkes University Henry Student Center Ballroom.

America’s sweeping health care law, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, will have an unprecedented impact on the nation’s health care system and the way that services are delivered, received and paid for. Employers, employees, health care providers and insurers will all be dramatically impacted by the unparalleled changes resulting from this new law.

Pochas will review the key 2013 and 2014 provisions of the Affordable Care Act and their impact to employers and employees. A review of the key dates for the implementation of various provisions of the expansive new health care law will also be provided. Plenty of time will also be provided for questions and answers. The discussion is geared toward CEOs, chief financial officers and human resources professionals.
