Wilkes University students, Tyler Ryan and Ongelique McGuire will bring Project Duct Tape to the Wilkes campus on Wednesday, December 5th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Project Duct Tape was established by Wilkes Alumna Tara Kojsza to directly benefit those affected by Hurricane Sandy in the Jersey Shore Area. After collecting supplies at her Scranton business, Jessee’s Place, Ms. Kojsza traveled to New Jersey to hand-deliver the much needed supplies. Project Duct Tape will be collecting: Money, Dog/Cat/Reptile/Guinea Pig Food, Shampoo & Conditioner, Toilet Paper, Shovels, Gloves, Socks, Plastic Cups, Plates and Utensils, Hats, Scarves, Aspirin, Cold Medicine, Tylenol, Feminine Hygiene Products, Q-Tips, Peroxide, Paper Towels, Candles, Bleach, Household Cleaners & Cleaning Supplies, Cleaning Gloves, Batteries, Lanterns, Flashlights, Generators, Firewood, Baby Diapers/Formula/Wipes/Other Supplies and more. Donations can be taken to Wilkes University’s Henry Student Center, 84 W. South Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 on Wednesday, December 5th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
