WILKES-BARRE, PA. (Nov. 19, 2012) – Wilkes University hosted the 59^th Annual Tax Clinic on Nov. 16. The clinic was presented by the Wilkes University Sidhu School of Business and Leadership and the Northeastern Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

The clinic is sponsored as a technical aid for accountants and other professional business advisors to keep abreast of recent developments in our tax structure. The proceeds from the Annual Tax Clinic benefit a scholarship fund established by the Northeastern Chapter of the PICPA. The Chapter awards partial tuition scholarships to accounting students entering their senior year, in recognition of high academic endeavor in the study of accounting.
