Wilkes Golfers Finish 13th Of 20 Teams At The Moravian Tournament
Carmen Winters leads the Colonels with a round of 84
The Wilkes University golf team opened up their 2007 season by placing 13th of 20 teams at the Moravian College Tournament held at the par 71 Southmoore Golf Club in Bath.
Wilkes finished with a team total of 345 strokes for the day. Keystone College claimed the team title by firing a team score of 319. FDU-Florham was second with a 324, while Widener also carded a 324 but finished third due to a match of cards.
Carmen Winters led the Wilkes squad with a round of 84. TJ Baloga was next for the Colonels after firing a round of 85. Tim Burns and Matt Nagar carded rounds of 88 for Wilkes. Jamie Montville was fifth for the Colonels after making his way around the course in 90 strokes.
