The 12^th-ranked Wilkes University wrestling team dropped a 40-6 decision to Delaware Valley College, ranked 8^th in Division III. The Aggies saw their dual match mark improve to 9-2 overall, while the loss moves the Colonels to 8-3 overall in dual match competition.

           
Delaware Valley took an early 3-0 lead when Josh Proctor scored an 8-1 win over Shaun Farnham at 125 pounds. Josh Pauling evened the score for the Colonels at 133 pounds with an 8-3 decision over Justin Shorts.

           
The Aggies would regain their lead when Ricky LaForge earned a 17-1 technical fall over Donny Clark at 141, and Jaryd Steinbacher defeated Adam Penberthy by a 3-1 decision at 149. Ryan Herwig defeated Frank Heffernan 18-1 at 157 pounds by way of a technical fall to further extend Delaware Valley’s lead.

           
Justin Barowski added Wilkes’ final three points of the match for with a 7-3 decision over Ryan Pope at 165, pulling the Colonels within 16-6. Delaware Valley answered back, securing the victory by pinning all four remaining Colonels. Paul Donnell pinned D.J. Giancola in 1:40 at 174 pounds, followed by a Martin Porter pin over Josh Ballan in 3:27 from the 184 pound spot. At 197, Kevin Orr defeated Colin Nagy by fall in 5:08, before Kyle Bilquist finished the evening for the Aggies pinning Andrew Feldman in just 55 seconds to give Delaware Valley the 40-6 victory.
