The community service office is seeking highly motivated, detail oriented, committed and energetic students to work in the community at various area non-profit agencies.
The agencies requesting assistance are American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Catholic Youth Center, CEO Kid’s Café, Domestic Violence Service Center, McGlynn Learning Center, Salvation Army Kirby Family House, United Way, Victims Resource Center, Wyoming Valley Children’s Association, and YMCA.
Qualifications for this position are commitment to a set schedule, reliable transportation, desire to learn new skills working with a variety of people, and strong work ethic.
Positions are extremely limited and are highly competitive. Positions are for federally funded students. Not all who apply will be chosen for a position.
