The community service office is seeking five highly motivated, detail oriented, and energetic community service coordinator for the programs below:
* Civic Engagement Office Assistant (2 postitions)
Students can expect their duties to include working on national days of service programs, the day-to-day operations of the civic engagement office, and coordinating the GiveGab site.
* Campus Interfaith Assistant
Students can expect their duties include helping with the day-to-day operation of the offices; including maintaining bulletin boards, creating and hanging posters, preparing supplies for upcoming service events, making copies, sending faxes, answering the phones, taking messages and sending e-mail reminders.
* Scholars in Service to Pennsylvania Administrative Assistant
Duties include assisting in orientation and training of the Scholars in Service program. Monitoring logged hours using an online database, attending workshops and meetings with the SISPA students and Community Service Coordinator, and sending reminders on the 14th of each month for students to log hours.
* Blood Drive Coordinator
The responsibilities of the Blood Drive coordinator include advertisement and marketing to students, faculty, and staff, recruitment of donors (phone calls, e-mails, flyers, etc.), recruitment of volunteers, blowing up balloons and decorating, collaborating with facilities and food services on set-up, clean-up and refreshments. Maintaining blood drive records.
