Last year participants walked over 160,000 miles during our twelve week employee walking competition! We would like to invite all faculty and staff to participate in the second annual

Wilkes University and King’s College are competing in a twelve (8) week Employee Wellness Program. The program will commence on Thursday August 9, 2006 and conclude on October 4, 2006. The winning school will be announced at half-time of the King’s vs. Wilkes football game. The event is being hosted at the Betzler Athletic Complex, Wilkes-Barre, PA on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 1 p.m. 

Program Goal:

To increase physical activity through walking, while participating in some friendly competition. This is the perfect opportunity to get into shape, stay healthy, and also show the community how proud you are of Wilkes University!
