Nurse Executive

The Nurse Executive program molds nurse leaders to assume management roles in various health care settings. These may include inpatient and outpatient care delivery, health maintenance, disease management, healthcare consulting and healthcare technology organizations.

 

Admission requirements:

  • graduation from an accredited baccalaureate program in nursing with 
    a minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale from original program
  • licensure as a registered nurse
  • one year of clinical practice prior to management core
  • undergraduate statistics course
  • undergraduate research course
  • statement of professional goals
  • two letters of recommendation
  • personal interview

Each student’s program will be tailored to meet individual professional goals and program requirements.
