Funded Projects

The Mentoring Task Force is pleased to announce the awarding of five...
project fund awards for the upcoming academic year. Additional funds will be awarded following the review of proposals due October 31, 2006.

Funded Projects for Fall 2006
The Mentoring Task Force Resources Committee received a total of 10 requests for Mentoring Project Fund Grants for the summer and fall of 2006. Five of the ten proposals were approved for funding by the Mentoring Task Force.

For this first round of proposals the review committee was conservative in its approach -- wanting to be sure that: 1) proposals reflected the funding guidelines and required format; 2) that the committee stay within its resources so that additional funds are available for the spring semester; and 3) that we avoid precedent that we might not be able to honor into the future. All of the proposals that weren't funded may have been characterized by any one of the above considerations.

Another round of proposals will be reviewed this fall (submission deadline is October 31).
