of Chesapeake and Delaware Halls are completed. Presently, we are in the bid phase and it is anticipated the work to begin by end of June 2006. The project’s scope of work is extensive and complex and will include:

• an addition to the rear of the building
• complete interior demolition and reconstruction
• installation of a HVAC system
• voice/network upgrades
• electrical and plumbing upgrades 
• life safety upgrades.

it is anticipated that it will take eight to ten months to complete. After discussions with Student Services and Residence Life, it was determine the best option for performing the work is to take the facility off-line for an entire year. The residence hall will be back online for the Fall Semester 2007.
