Participate in "It's On Us" Week Events
Please join us for “It’s On Us Wilkes,” a week-long event to raise awareness surrounding
sexual harassment, sexual violence and relationship violence.
We hope to create and facilitate many meaningful discussions on these issues and also receive productive feedback from our students that will assist in ensuring our campus is a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
The following programs are open to all students, faculty and staff:
Monday, March 27:
Dr. Jackson Katz Keynote Address, “Men, Women, Sex, and Violence” at 7 p.m. in the Henry Student Center Ballroom. Online registration is required.
Wednesday, March 29:
One Love Escalation Workshop – 90-minute film based workshop that educates about relationship violence from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.in the Henry Student Center Miller Room.
Glow Run Paint Night at 7 p.m. in the Henry Student Center Student Lounge
Thursday, March 30:
Screening of The Hunting Ground – documentary film about the incidence of sexual assault on college campuses at 11 a.m. in Breiseth 108
Friday, March 31:
Glow Run Race – Ready, Set, Glow race for suicide prevention awareness. Registration is at 6:30 p.m. in UCOM and the race begins at 8:30 p.m. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will follow on the Greenway.
