Announcing the Appointment of Dr. Shaokang (Ken) Wang as MBA Director of Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership
Dr. Wang is an assistant professor of finance at the Jay Sidhu School of Business and Leadership. Since joining Sidhu School in 2014, he has taught various courses on introduction to finance, managerial finance, financial management, long-range financial planning, financial derivatives and international finance, to undergraduates and MBA students. His main research interests are in Corporate Finance (including IPO underpricing, Merger and Acquisition, Corporate Governance), and Law & Finance.
Prior to joining the Sidhu School of Business & Leadership, Dr. Wang was a visiting assistant professor of finance at the Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University. He taught raising capital and investing in global market, principles of modern finance, and financial management for the graduate and undergraduate students at Fordham. He also taught a variety of undergraduate finance courses at State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY).
Dr. Wang received his B.S. from Tsinghua University, China, and his Ph.D. in finance from State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY).
