Wilkes Homecoming 2016: Announcements & Reminders

The Office of Alumni Relations is preparing to welcome more than 1,000 alumni and friends back to campus for Homecoming weekend. There might be gray skies, but there will be plenty of Blue and Gold spirit in the air. Here are some updates and reminders about the weekend:

For everyone's comfort, we've moved the following events to indoor locations:
W Club (Friday at 3 p.m.): Ballroom in the Henry Student Center.
Pints with Professors (Friday at 5 p.m.): Recreation & Athletics Center in University Center on Main.

Please note: the Walking Tour (Friday at 2 p.m.) will still be held outdoors. Please bring an umbrella if you are registered for this event.

Here are the answers to some frequently asked Homecoming questions...
Where do Homecoming attendees pick up nametags and event tickets?

Your nametag, event tickets and welcome bag will ready for you at the first event for which you have registered.
*If you’re a faculty member who has registered for events, we will do our best to deliver your nametag to you before Friday at noon.

Where should alumni/attendees park?
Parking is available in the Wilkes parking garage across from the UCOM building (169 South Main Street) and in the parking lot behind the Henry Student Center (84 West South Street).
Click here to see a map of campus. Don't forget to feed the meters until 6:00 p.m. if you park on the street.

Is there a shuttle service on campus?
On Saturday, the Wilkes shuttle will run beginning in the morning through the end of the football game from the rear of the Henry Student Center to the Ralston Athletic Complex. Parking is extremely limited by the field, so you are encouraged to take advantage of this service.

What should I wear to Homecoming events?
Blue and gold, of course! Here's a cheat-sheet for you...
Casual: walking tours, Pints with Professors, Twist & Stout Bar Tour and Tailgate Tent
Smart casual: class of 1966 cocktail party, W Club Reception, Memorial Bells
Dressy: Class of 1966 Dinner

How can I share my Wilkes spirit with everyone at Homecoming?
