Chris Hackett, Vice Chair of Board of Trustees, to Speak for Family Business Alliance

Chris Hackett, who serves as the Vice Chair of the Wilkes University Board of Trustees will be presenting on Lessons Learned in Profitability as a part of the Family Business Alliance Monthly Breakfast Series. 

Chris is an entrepreneur who has been self-employed for 25 years and owns five businesses: 
- Business Process Outsourcing
- Polymer Manufacturing
- Insurance Brokerage
- Temporary Staffing
- Executive Search and Recruiting

Chris graduated from Wittenberg University with a BA in Business and was part of the class that made the upper 2/3rds possible.  After graduation in 1985 he worked for 5 years at a large public accounting firm in DC earning his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1986 and his Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation in 1987. 

Chris is an active member of the volunteer community and he sits on boards at Wyoming Seminary and Chairs the Human Resource Committee, Wilkes University serves as Vice Chair, and CASA, serving as the Treasurer.  In 2013 Chris helped found CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) in response to the significant need in the community to assist children in the dependency system.
