 Why Global Health Matters

Globalization has changed the fabric of human society and has made the world more interconnected than ever. The 2000 UN Millennium Development Goals Declaration, Post 2015 Agenda and the recent global health challenges posed by the ongoing Ebola pandemic have changed the landscape of health of communities worldwide. These linkages and connectivity highlight why health is a society's wealth and the need for communities to examine health and human rights from a global perspective.
