Wilkes University

"Big Event" Registration is OPEN

The Big Event is the single largest community service project that takes place at Wilkes University every year. Each spring, approximately 400 students sign up to be a volunteer at one of the 25 to 30 Big Event work sites in the towns that surround campus. The Big Event promotes unity between campus and community as students come together for one day to express their gratitude through service for the support from the Wilkes-Barre community. Students work in teams to complete projects across Luzerne County as a way to say “thank you!” to the community for their support of Wilkes Students. This year the Big Event takes place on Saturday, April 25!
