Primary Care Progress Hotspotting Interprofessional Learning Collaborative for Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties

P3 Students Nikko Bonavoglia, Eileen Friery, Mark Gryskevicz, Lucia McGettigan were selected to participate in the Primary Care Progress Hotspotting Interprofessional Learning Collaborative for Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties.

The program is sponsored by the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education and Keystone Accountable Care Collaborative and is offered in partnership with Geisinger Commonwealth Medical College Primary Care Progress, and the American Academy of Medical Colleges. The initiative brings student teams together from Wilkes and University of Scranton Nursing, College Misericordia physical therapy, and GCMC medicine, along with Wilkes pharmacy. The goal of the program is to improve patient care while reducing health system costs. The students attended the Kick Off conference at Thomas Jefferson Hospital this weekend. Dr Malinowski is the faculty advisor for the initiative.
