Pharmacy Practice Welcomes Drs. McCutcheon and Miller!

The Department of Pharmacy Practice is delighted to welcome Dr. Livia McCutcheon and Dr. Kimberly Miller to our team. Stop by and welcome them when you get a chance!

Livia

Dr. Livia McCutcheon earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida and completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center. Additionally, she completed an Instructional Design and Evaluation Fellowship at University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and a Master of Arts in Instructional Systems Development at University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Prior to joining Wilkes as an Assistant Professor, Dr. McCutcheon worked as an assistant professor for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a practice site in the area of ambulatory care and correctional managed health care for the past 3 years. She will be establishing her practice site at the St. Luke's Family Medicine Clinic located in Bethlehem, PA. This year she will be teaching in PT (Self Care), Longitudinal Care and Care Lab. A native of Brazil, Dr. McCutcheon speaks Portuguese and Spanish. As such she will be contributing to our Pharmacy Concentration in Spanish.

Kimberly

Dr. Kimberly Miller completed her pre-pharmacy studies at Wilkes University and earned her PharmD from Temple University. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore and a PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy Residency at Temple University Hospital. She was a faculty member in Pharmacy Practice at Temple School of Pharmacy from 2013-2016 where she practiced in internal medicine and ran clinics in HIV and hepatitis. Dr. Miller's practice site will be Ambulatory Care at The Wright Center in Jermyn, PA. Dr. Miller will be teaching in Medical Microbiology, Longitudinal Care and Care Lab.
